Hy guys in this
lesson I’m going to explain about expository
paragraph
By the way what is the definition of expository
paragraph ? have you known guys? If not yet, I will explain it for you. Expository
is the paragraph that explains or
analyzes a topic is a paragraph.And usually include of information, explanation,
fact, and illustration. Expository text can be divided into several model of
writings such as process paragraph and procedure paragraph. If process
paragraph using passive sentences and procedure using active sentences.
The function of
expository is to give information, explain something, give direction, or show
how something happens. If you want write a good expository
paragraph you should know about the generic structure and the language form.
The generic structure are :
- Topic sentence
- Supporting sentences: example, detail, chart
- Concluding sentence
How aabout The language forms of
Expository? well the language forms of Expository are :
- Using process verbs: begin, start, continue, become, remain, develop, end finish and culminate.
- Using indefinite transitions
- Using question word mark, such as how and what
- Using charts, graphics, and other visual aids.
- Using present tenses either ferbal or nominal
The example of expository are How to Make a Cup of coffe, How to make chicken katsu how paper is made, etc. I
